Alicia Siegel is the Director of Development at Americans for Fair Treatment, a nonprofit dedicated to empowering current and former public-sector workers to uphold and exercise their First Amendment rights. In this role, she leads the organization’s fundraising strategy and donor engagement efforts, building lasting partnerships that sustain and expand AFFT’s impact. Alicia is deeply committed to using philanthropy to empower individuals and connect supporters with meaningful opportunities to advance fairness and freedom in the workplace.
Before joining AFFT, Alicia spent more than 15 years cultivating and strengthening donor and institutional relationships across the nonprofit sector. Her background includes advocating for students’ rights through The Neurodiversity Alliance and promoting school choice through the charter school network Envision Education—experiences that informed her dedication to advancing individual rights through philanthropy.
A New Orleans native, Alicia values the power of authentic connection and storytelling, believing that every impactful campaign begins with a meaningful conversation. She holds a BA from the University of Colorado. Alicia and her family live on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, where she enjoys barre and yoga, watercolor painting, and staying connected to her vibrant coastal community.
