Steven Thomas

Vice President of Development

Steven Thomas is Vice President of Development for Americans for Fair Treatment. In this role, he leads AFFT’s fundraising strategy, including donor development, foundation relations, grant writing, direct mail and small-dollar giving.

Steven brings more than 20 years of experience in nonprofit leadership, fundraising and political consulting. Throughout his career, he has served in executive and board leadership roles with dozens of nonprofit organizations, helping raise tens of millions of dollars and launch several new organizations. He is known for his collaborative approach, strategic mindset and longstanding commitment to advancing freedom in the workplace.

Steven has also held public office and worked on hundreds of political campaigns at the local, state and national levels. His experience spans organizational development, campaign strategy, fundraising and coalition building.

Originally from New Jersey and Virginia, Steven holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Arts from Georgetown University.

Steven is the father of three children and is committed to helping preserve a country that values freedom for future generations.
