Marc Spardello is the Director of Membership at Americans for Fair Treatment, a nonprofit organization that exists to help public sector employees with resources to defend their constitutional rights regarding union membership. In this role, he leads membership recruitment and engagement strategies to ensure AFFT members have a thriving community.
Marc comes to AFFT with many years of experience in membership development in both the private and nonprofit sectors. His background includes managing the membership base for a nonprofit organization with over 130,000 members nationwide, whose primary focus is advocacy in Washington, D.C. for the radio communications field.
A native of Rhode Island, Marc understands the importance of fostering relationships with members in a way that has a meaningful and lasting impact. He lives by the credo, “People do not always remember your name, but they always remember how you made them feel.” He earned his BA with a concentration in political science and history from Rhode Island College. Marc currently resides in Las Vegas where he enjoys exploring all that Nevada has to offer.
