Unions accused of Forgery

There are several cases working their way through the federal court system that reveal a shocking union practice. Forgery. As in, unions in California and Oregon are forging the names of unsuspecting public employees on unions membership cards.

In an op-ed, Freedom Foundation attorney Timothy Snowball referenced cases sitting before the 9th and 8th Circuits that deal with union forgeries.

“Last week, the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals heard arguments in three cases dealing with public employee labor unions accused of forging employee signatures on dues-authorization cards so they can take their money without permission and spend it on politics.”
